NOIA radiologists read MRIs for many professional sports teams, including the US ski team, pro rodeo, and many college sports teams.

Our Commitment To You

Our sole commitment is to provide you with the best care to improve your health and well-being. We believe that providing effective treatment naturally begins with an accurate diagnosis. Because exams do not always indicate the extent or severity of an injury, the staff at ProSports also relies on the finest state-of-the-art MRI technology available. MRI scans, interpreted by our staff of expert diagnosticians, help us develop the best treatment plan for you. ProSports is proud of its reputation for detailed, consistent, and accurate diagnoses. Appointments are typically scheduled no less than a week from the day that you contact us, and you can expect to receive your reports by the next day.

Why MRI is Valuable

MRI is an important part of our diagnostic process because it can:

  • reveal an injury not apparent in a physical exam
  • confirm a suspected injury
  • detect an injury that may be more or less severe than a physical exam suggests
  • pinpoint multiple diagnoses that show up as one set of symptoms

Imaging is particularly useful in instances of pain, swelling, or hemorrhaging associated with an injury, as these complications can interfere with the doctor's ability to perform a complete physical exam.

Whether you're an athlete anxious to return to your game or an arthritis patient contemplating joint replacement surgery, we can determine the extent and magnitude of your condition and help you obtain the most effective treatment.

Why You should choose ProSports Imaging NW

  • Imaging experience: hundreds of thousands of MRIs read
  • Speed: same-day or next-day results
  • Convenience: on-site imaging saves you travel time
  • Expertise: our diagnosticians treat many professional sports organizations including the 49'ers, NY Giants and the US ski team

Expert Diagnostic Imaging

ProSports Imaging NW is especially pleased to offer advanced on-site MRI services to our patients through our partnership with National Orthopedic Imaging Associates (NOIA). NOIA boasts some of the best sports medicine radiologists in the nation, known for consistently providing timely, detailed, and accurate diagnoses of the entire musculoskeletal system, including the spine. We are proud to bring this level of MRI expertise to our patients.

What is an MRI?

MRI stands for "magnetic resonance imaging," and has been used since 1977. It is a non-invasive imaging technique used to visualize internal structure and function in the body. These high-quality images are created using radio frequency and a powerful magnetic field. MRI scans identify different types of tissue and create detailed pictures of soft tissue, bone, and blood flow.
