Bio

My philosophy has always been to integrate a patient's orthopedic treatment into his or her overall health plan. I strongly feel that it is essential to maintain the highest level of physical activity possible regardless of one's age. Such activity benefits the whole person in numerous ways including improved balance, psychological well-being, and improved immune function. Intervention may be as simple as exercise modification or as complex as advanced joint reconstruction. I will always choose the most conservative means available which offers a high likelihood of success. I have tried to live according to these same principles participating in a daily exercise routine as well as coaching football and lacrosse for the last 13 years. I consider it a privilege and a blessing to be able to serve my patients and my community in the specialty of orthopedic surgery.
